About the Beatlephones
The beatlephones, in 1966 Koss came out with the Beatles Headphones. These are blue custom over the ear stereo headphones. "“The Koss Beatlephones were nothing more than an average set of cans covered in stickers but they sold out globally and remain one of the most sought-after bits of Fab Four memorabilia" (The Complete History, 2013). According the an article in the Billboard magazine these headphones were popular for being used with musical instruments, but also as record player accessories. Most new music players came equipped with jacks for headphones. They were also considered one of the top manufatured heaphones during this time. The top three to be exact. The headphone manufacturers at the NAMM Music Show were: Koss Electronics, Telex Corp., and Shure Bros. Headphones were the most common accessory shown at the NAMM Music Show.

People who wanted to listen to very different music were able to do so in the same room. The Beatlephones ad appealed to teenage record fans and guitar, accordion, and organ musicians.
